Make Up Your Own Title.

As you can see, I couldn't think of a witty title. Partly because, I have no idea what I am going to Blog about.......
Today at church I had the HARDEST time focusing, I don't know what my problem was.
I did however ENJOY the Relief Society lesson Lindsey taught. On reverence. It was such a wonderful lesson, and I got some very important things out of it. Lindsey is an amazing teacher! (Love you Sista!) It's so important for us, to be examples to others of reverence. It's hard but it's up to us, to be an example. We all need try to bring reverence in every aspect of our lives. I know I am going to try to be better, and make an effort to invite the spirit into every thing I do. I am grateful for the wonderful Gospel principals we have and love we feel because of the Gospel.
Today turned out to be a wonderful Sunday!

Karaoke && Crepe Night.

Karaoke and Crepes go together right?!

Well, they do in Davis, Ca. Friday night a bunch of friends and I wanted to get some pumpkins, but all the places closed early. WHAT?! So we headed to Davis for some food. Kattera and I went to Beach Hut Deli (check it out..click on it) only the best sandwiches ever! Everyone else ate at Pluto's. After food, we walked around a little (where Kattera and I were checking out all the cute "black rimmed" glasses wearing boys..OF COURSE!!!) and went to borders. Then headed out...well we stumbled upon a Crepe place. Not just a crepe place, but a Japanese Crepe (click on it) place complete with Karaoke!!! Oh yeah, you know we stayed and did karaoke!!! It was soo much fun, we are going back for sure! What a great Friday night on the town in Davis. So fun! : )

Wake Up Call.

I have recently had a HUGE wake up call....

My friends want the best for me, and I need to take everything they say to heart. They are here for me through thick and thin. (You all should be able to figure which one you are)

J: Thank you so much for being the best BFF ever, you have helped me become so much stronger and helped me realize I can be ok. Over the last few years we have become so close, and I am so glad the Lord put you in my life. I don't know how I would survive without you. J, thank you so much for all the wonderful memories we have had together. Realizing it's "double stuf" not "stuffed" oreos. haha. In n Out trips, Stinson Beach, Being gym buddies,"stalking" certain people shh??!, SYTYCD night, ANTM nights, sleepovers, and so much inside jokes. I love you so much J, you are the bestest BFF ever.I am so happy for you and everything going on with your life. I cannot wait to be part of your very BIG day in a few months. Thank you so much for everything. I love you.

A: Not only are we related, but we have become the bestest Friends. I love that, I have so many found memories with you. You are always there for me, just to talk. Or to laugh uncontrollably with. I miss when we were little, and we have sleepovers all the time and just laugh and laugh for hours. : ) I love you cousin, you are amazing and I am so grateful that my Heavenly Father put you in my life as my cousin.

H && M: Cousins, cousins, cousins, I love you girls so much. I am so grateful for everything you have done for me. I miss you terribly and cannot wait to be reunited with you in a few weeks. "Best cousins forever!"

A: Hey beez, So for the last 7 years or is it 8 years. (feels like a million..haha.) We have had up's and down's but, they have only strengthened our friendship! I love you so much Bestie. Thank you for everything. For all the wonderful memories, and inside jokes! I cannot wait for the future to see where our lives take us. I know deep down we will stay close for the years to come. You know way too much about me, to not be in my life. I love you bestie, and I'm looking forward to seeing you graduate from College. I am so proud of you. You will be the best "Event" planner ever. I have already booked you to plan my Wedding (someday!) haha. I know our friendship will last a lifetime, and am looking forward to all the many memories we will have!!

L: Sista, I love you so much and enjoy every day we spend together. Through thick and thin, we have stayed close. I love you more than you could know. I sure hope we will stay close forever, (I know we will)...I LOVE YOU SISTA! These last 6 or 7 years have been amazing, and I will support you in any decision you make in the near future (you know what I'm talking about) You will be awesome at anything you do.

K: I am so lucky to have met you, and become so close to you. I know you are such an amazing Friend and I am so grateful that my Heavenly Father brought you into my life. I am looking forward to all the wonderful memories that are to come. Thank you so much, for all your advice. You are very wise! I love you so much K.

C: We have been friends for over a decade. I am so glad we have keep in touch, even though we haven't "seen" each other is years. I love you so much! && hope one day we will see each other again. I love you C.

Fun With Lindsey!

I spent the other day with Lindsey and the little boy she is a Nanny for Caleb! We picked him at school, then headed back to his house for his lunch and watched some Scooby Doo. Then we took Caleb shopping, well more so for us then him. Poor little guy was soo tired. Then we headed to the park. It was quite fun, and Caleb enjoyed playing for a hour or so.

Then it was off to Target before lunch with Kattera. At Target, we literally walked the entire store. Looked at everything! Even had some fun with the sunglasses.....

After the craziness at Target, it was time for late lunch/early dinner at Mary's with Kattera! The food was soo yummy! I love Mary's Pizza Shack! What a fun day, thanks for letting me hang out with guys (Lindsey and Caleb!) && next week we might see Toy Story 1 & 2 in the theater. YAY!

My Sunday.

So it's Sunday, I'm bored and I thought I would blog. Why not?! Today was a fairly great Sunday it started when I woke up and saw it was cloudy and that meant it's time to bust out the warm church clothes!! the day continued with some amazing talks in Sacrament meeting. Myra McCann (Mark's mom) spoke in the branch and gave a wonderful talk on trails, she shared some wonderful stories both personal and not. Let me tell how much I love her, she is such an amazing woman and she is such an example to me. She said some wonderful things, that really got me thinking. "The Gospel is not assurance, its simply guidance." We all often feel just because we "know" the truth everything will be simple. That is not the case, just because we have the Gospel in our lives doesn't mean we will be handed everything and anything we need with no work. "It's not enough to know it and live it, we need to do it"(that was shared during Sunday school) We need to work hard and live the Gospel. That made me think of something an old High School math teacher use to always say "NIKE...just do it", that can be said and applied to anything in our lives. "Through our trials we can learn what God wants, and love like God loves." I love that quote she shared. I know I have blogged before on my love for my trails. see here! (click "see here") It's hard sometimes for me, to really understand during my trails that everything will be OK, but with everything we have been given, if we work hard, turn to the Lord in every possible way and listen to him we can overcome whatever we are facing. Brother Maghoney talked also spoke to us, he spoke on trails as well, as the Adversary. He said something that I loved, "The adversary can be a blessing." Meaning if the adversity comes into our lives, in most cases it's a test of your strength and will bring you closer to your Heavenly Father. Both their talks went hand in hand, It was a great reminder we need to do all we have been asked of, and turn to the Lord and we will receive many blessings. All in all it was a great Sunday....

Hair Products=LOVE.

I am in LOVE with this stuff. It's a "dry shampoo". Simply spray on your roots and it soaks up the oils making your hair clean and just like you washed it! Its AMAZING! It smells good too. You can go like 2 days without washing your hair! All us girls know how bad it is for your hair to wash it everyday so, go pick up some "TIGI Rockaholic Dry Shampoo" at your hair Salon. If you live close to me, let me know I can pick up some at the Beauty Supply for ya! You will love it. I promise. : )

(I decided I would start sharing my favorite hair products with you all since I am a Licensed Hairstylist and LOVE LOVE hair products. I have a lot, ask anyone who has seen my bathroom cupboard..why not! So enjoy!)

So it's Friday night, I'm sitting at home watching movies... Fun huh? What is there to do in this town on a Friday night?! NOTHING. Date night? What's that? haha. No dating going on here in this town! haha. I was just thinking about how EXCITED I am for my trip in November.

I cannot wait, I am soo stinking excited to see everyone. I am looking forward to spending some time with the Dahlin family, and seeing Annie. I miss that girl like crazy! After a week and half in Utah i'll be heading to Idaho!!! YAY! I can't wait to see Jennifer. I miss my BFF. I don't how I'm surviving without her and everyone else.Thank you to Lindsey and Kattera for keeping me busy and being such great friends I love you both soo much. No but, really I cannot wait for my trip. I can't wait to go to Idaho! I miss all my CA friends so bad. It will be a blast!!!

Other exciting news:
I got a new digital camera today!! My old Olympus just wasn't doing it for me anymore. So I have been researching for months and
finally chose the Canon SD12o0. I love it. I got it in Silver. Its amazing
I am soo happy!! I love it.

What A Weekend.

What a crazy weekend. Oh boy...So my Stepdad so graciously offered my Mom and I to babysit for his friends boys. (note this is said with sarcasm!) They have 4 boys. We had the 2 younger ones, one who is almost 3 and one who is 8mths or so. Oh boy, I'm exhausted, that would be an understatement. They wore me out. The 3yr old doesn't really talk, so it was very frustrating at times, but we handle it. They will be leaving in the morning, and I cannot wait to sleep in Tuesday!! They weren't all that bad, it was just way exhausting when your not use to little ones being around all the time. We got them Fri and they leave tomorrow morning!!! haha. Along with those kiddos being here it was Conference weekend which I have been looking forward to for a couple weeks..wait NO since April!!!!
I had the opportunity to watch all the sessions, all but the last half of Saturday's afternoon. What can I say, I loved each and every talk that was given! They all were wonderful, and I got something outta each one. I can't say I have a favorite yet, I need read them over again once the Ensign comes out! Jeffery R. Holland's talk was hands down was very special. I loved they way he got his message across that's for sure. Sister Dibb's, her talk was such a beautiful one! Like I said I cannot choose a favorite, I could go on and on about everyone single one.
Conference is such an amazing thing, I love that twice a year we get to hear all the Apostles speak, and convey such important and wonderful messages from our Heavenly Father. : )
I feel so blessed to have the Church in my life. Conference has just reassured me of the LOVE I have for this Gospel and my Heavenly Father. I know I am a Daughter of God, and I am going to strive to be a better Example to others and not be afraid to share the Gospel or my love for it.

What a wonderful Conference weekend! I cannot wait for April 2010! I hope you all enjoyed Conference as well and I wanna know you favorite talks!?!

(Maybe next Conference I'll get to sit in here and Listen!!)
