sunday thoughts.

the temple....is something i have been thinking about a WHOLE lot. maybe, its due to the fact i'm going on friday to recieve my endowments for the first time. {i am soooo excited!}

anyways, i have been pondering about temples and i am so grateful to live in a time where we have temples all over the world, and very grateful to live so close to two temples. i think about the parts of the world where the memebers of our church have to travel hours, even in some places days to attend the temple. i think of the sacrafice they make of time. so amazing. i am so thankful to be so close to two temples {oakland and even sacramento} and sometimes i am guilty of taking that for granted and attending the temple as much as i should. 

when dan and i are married i want to have a goal of going to the temple once a month. seeing as we'll be living in utah, and will be close to several temples, it's very do-able. how fun huh?! anyways, that's just what i've been thinking about these days. 

oh, how i love the temple. don't you?!

going here on march 12th to get MARRIED. <3

in one month.

...i become a wife.

...daniel and i will start our new life.

...i will be sealed to the love of my life.

...i become Mrs. Clark.

...i get to wear my amazing wedding dress.

...my bridesmaids will look so cute.

...i get a mother-in-law, father-in-law, three new sisters and two nieces..

...my name changes.

...&& daniel gets himself a wife. <3

yep, you guessed it. the wedding is in ONE MONTH! holy cow. there is so much left to do, but all that stuff doesnt really matter to me anymore. which flowers i choose for centerpieces, how the weather will be, and if the food is good. you know. all i care about is finally being sealed to daniel for time and all eternity. :)

the oakland temple 

{alot of people have questioned me or given me a whole lot of "crap" for not choosing to be sealed in this temple because "its your temple, eryka. you grew up by this temple" is the common reason. for everyone who has questioned me or given me crap: we chose the sacramento temple, because thats where we want to be sealed, and because we want to be a little different. don't get me wrong, i love all temples equally and will totally miss the beauty of the oakland temple when i become a utah girl.}

....these were taken the other day while on a mommy daughter temple trip with kattera and alice. :)

{i didnt go through. but next friday i will..eekkk!!}

this is a cabinet my mom has had for awhile and doesnt want. so, we spruced it up and now its super cute.
