{i am writing this on friday, so happy early christmas!} 


thought this sweet little video pretty much summed up the birth of our savior, and the little girl narrating just makes it that much sweeter. she is the cutest!


this video literally made me weep with joy. i love reading or hearing this story this time of year. amongst the presents, the shopping, the family time, the traveling, the holiday parties, the cooking/baking and everything else we occupy our time with during the holidays we sometimes loose sight of the REAL meaning of christmas. it's not all about the presents, and the chaos. it's about the birth of our savior. 


i love this time of year. it's so magical and wonderful. i think for the first time in long time i am MORE excited to give people their gifts then receive any this year! i just loving seeing my loved ones faces when i give them a gift they LOVE. it really is the best. what do you think, do you love giving or receiving more? i promise i wont judge if you said receive! haha. who doesn't LOVE getting gifts?! LOL.


it's christmas day, as you go to church and spend time with your loved ones i hope you all feel that wonderful christmas spirit. have a joyous day loves!

so christmas is sunday...have you wrapped all your gifts yet? this week i found some awesome ideas. too bad, i already wrapped all the gifts. maybe next year i'll use one of these ideas. couldn't help but sing this song in my head as i was writing this post! haha. ohhh i love me some "sound of music".

pssstttt.....Happy Birthday to my best friend/best cousin ever, Annie! she really is my best friend, don't know what i would do without her! i love that when we are together we can laugh so hard our tummies hurt. usually, we don't even know what we are laughing about! im pretty sure, even when we have kids we still are going to act like that! love you buffy!

boo-ya two posts in one day: last friday we went to temple square with my cousin annie, and her boy michael. it was so much fun despite how cold it was! 

i love temple square, the lights are breath-taking! if you haven't been, you really should!

i am still working on the home tour post. i know, it's been forever since we moved in. truth is, when the house is clean, i always forget to snap some photos and when it's messy is when i remember but am too lazy to clean it. just keeping it real with ya!

our weekend.

this weekend's events:

~enjoyed the our pretty tree. it has presents under it now!

~finished our christmas shopping and wrapping of the gifts. 

~went to temple square with annie and michael to see the lights. it was sooo crowded. 

~got some new tights at target. pretty excited huh?!

~slept in and it was wonderful

~watched lots and lots of storage wars {have you heard of it? its where people bid on storage units. its awesome!}

~had a glorious day at at church. liking our new ward so far.

~had dan's sister kelly over for dinner sunday night while dan's parents were outta town. 

~watched some more storage wars with kelly. 

as you can see we had a fun weekend here in the clark home. did you do anything fun this weekend?! less than a week til CHRISTMAS. CRAY CRAY i tell ya!

temple square lights.

....yeah these photos are like from forever ago. i lost my usb sd card reader, but good news i found it!!! we went to temple square to see the lights a few weeks ago...so much fun but, brr it was freezing! guess, what we went again on friday night..those photos are coming soon!
