january//had our anniversary pictures taken by ashley eliza {date night idea + fonude night with the helvey's }

february//spent most of this month sick with an ear infection but, still celebrated valentines day with my love {our anniversary shoot + an example of love}

march//dan & i celebrated two years of marriage then dan turned 25 {anniversary getaway + him & her}

april//finally got to meet some of my blog friends and had a blast {diy neon flower pots + its a blogger thing} 

may//embraced the beautiful weather we had in utah {a day at the beach + from the weekend}

june//went to ca to visit family and friends, oh and i was pregnant but didn't know it til right before my trip {ca in instas + sunday style}

july//went to moab but, not before we found out there was two babies in the oven. we also announced the pregnancy this month {are you serious? + that one time we went to moab}

august//spent most of this month throwing up..oh morning sickness {happy list} 

september//my mom came to visit and we found out the genders of the babies BOY & GIRL! {lately + four from the weekend}

ocotber//before my pre term labor scare on the 30th we soaked up the amazing fall weather {a letter to the babies + pregnancy favorites}

november//i turned 25 and started my bed rest journey {the weekly bump + from the weekend}

december//loved the christmas season and spending time with my love prepping for the babies {our christmas + oh christmas tree}

this year was full of so many memories and was all in all a great one. i just know 2014 will be amazing too. with the addition of our baby boy and baby girl coming any day!!! we cannot wait to be parents!

our christmas + other happenings

1 These stress tests I have to do are not my favorite but, so worth it. So umcomfortable, the babies hate them! 

2 & 3 Christmas Eve sitting by the tree with my love. We talked about how it was our last Christmas eve as just us. SO crazy! 

4 Christmas morning making breakfast burritos with my love. Well mostly him cooking, I made eggs! 

5 Christmas Eve snuggles after breakfast. Dan surprised me by taking the day off! I loved it. 

6 He then surprised me on Christmas with this amazing sign. My cousin Megan's husband Matt made it {see his work here} it will look amazing in the nursery! 

7 Christmas at the in laws. Next year will be crazy with 3 new babies. {my sister in law is expecing a girl and she is due a week before me}

8 Guys, there is a pack n play in our room and everytime I walk in, it takes me by surprise. I think holy cow we are about to be parents. Ps. This was our Christmas gift to the twins. 

9 Thrity-three weeks preggo today!! 

Our Christmas was low key and perfect. Next year will be so different with two 11 month olds but, we cant wait! We were gifted some amazing gifts and are so grateful for them! I think this year I was the most excited for my Mother in Law to open her gift. We went in on a gift with my Sister in Law and her family. We got her a necklace with all her grandkids initials on it, she LOVED IT! I ordered the necklace from Quiant Collections {my cousins, cousins shop}. 

Did you have a good Holiday? What was your favorite thing about Christmas this year? I know mine but, I can't say yet! lol. 

christmas sunday-a little reminder

i always love these sweet little videos, they serve such a strong reminder of the reason for the christmas season. i know i am guilty of falling into the commerical side of the holiday, and always catch myself stressing about finding the perfect gift or thinking about what i am going to get. when really we should be thinking about what we are going to be giving our savior. {you can see more videos here.} so, i ask what are you going to give your savior this christmas?

christmas is next week...

one//two//three//four//five//six

{some pretty pins for your weekend}

so, christmas is next week. holy cow this month is flying by. we haven't been able to do a whole lot of our christmas tradtions this year due bed rest but, its still been a magical time. there is just something about sitting on the couch watching shows or movies by tree light withe dan. 

i've been thinking about next year and how much fun it's going to be with two 11 month olds. crazy to say but, exciting! last night dan and i were talking about taking the twins to see santa next year. i can't wait! or to take them to temple square to see the twinkle lights, and start to teach them about the real meaning of this wonderful season. it's going to be wonderful! i hope they come to love this time of year as much as their momma. 

speaking of the twins, yesterday i was having some pains and wasn't sure if they were concrations or not. so we ended up going to see my doctor. we did a stress test and the babies did great. i was concracting a little but, nothing to serious. it's normal to concract at this stage in the pregnancy. {32 weeks, baby!} we were sent home and everything is fine. im just uncomfortable and have a sore belly but, hey what's new! we just need 3 more weeks and then these babies can come. 3 WEEKS??! i know right. crazy! i can't wait to our little babies and see who looks like who. see what color hair they will have, or eyes and kiss their little faces!

christmas greetings

i thought since i cannot send each and every one of you our chirstmas card this year {oh how i wish i could}, why not share it on here. can we talk about how christmas is next week? holy moly!

a random post in which i ramble

1. 30 week bump and new glasses.

2. nursery crafting-these are hung above their cribs.

3. freaking cute car seats covers from my mother in law. so in love!

4. nursery sneak peek-cannot wait for it to be over! 

5. bed rest makes me so stylish. 

6. 31 week bump. 

7. baby shower. it was so much fun and boy were we spoiled.

8. my love always by my side when hes home. 

sorry posting has been so sparse. things are pretty boring around these parts. last week some family and friends gathered at our house and threw me the best shower. the babies and i were spoiled rotten. i've had so much fun going through and washing baby clothes. yesterday i washed more clothes and picked out things to stick in their hospital bag. at least their bag is all ready. hoping to get mine and dan's semi ready this week. just need to make a target or walmart run {READ dan needs to make a target or walmart run}. 

i had an appointment this morning, like always. she checked my cervix and it wasn't as short as she was thinking it was. it's still short 1.3 but everything else looks good. i had another round steroids and will have the 2nd round tomorrrow. these are just in case they come in the next 2 weeks to help make sure their lungs are developed enough. 

next monday we will have our first nst, where they will hook the babies up to heart monitors and hook me up to a contraction monitor too. sounds exciting huh? haha. i also met with the doctor who will be delivering the twins. we just got new insurance for the babies so, my doctor wont be able to deliever the babies. i was way sad and upset at first but, feel a lot better knowing the other doctor. he is actually the doctor who told us we were having twins. we will be delivering the babies at LDS hospital in slc. i have heard so great things about it so, hoping that all works out.  

other than that the babies looks great. i am starting to get anxious to get things done since the babies could LITERALLY be here any time. dan has some projects to do and then their room will be done. i can't wait for that. it drive me crazy not being able to get things done all the way. since i can't really nest by cleaning the house their room is how i am nesting. don't worry i will post pictures when it is all done. cannot wait!!

bumpdate {30 weeks}

HOW FAR ALONG:  30 weeks 1 day with twins! 

MATERNITY CLOTHES:  yes ma'am. im usually in sweats,leggings or pj's, you know being on bed rest. im going to dinner with my sister in law so i put on semi real clothes today, still rocking leggings! oh and sometimes i put real clothes on for the dr's on mondays but, only sometimes! 

WEIGHT GAIN/LOSS: gaining about 2lbs a week i think. i honestly have no idea how much i have gained. like no clue! haha. 

BEST THING THIS WEEK: having another big ultrasound with the tech and seeing these active babies. even got to see baby girl's profile for a second before she moved her face! baby boy wouldn't show us his face. we also learned that the babies have switched sides. baby boy is now on my left and baby girl is on my right. crazy, they had enough room to flip. haha. oh and we found out that baby boy weighs 3lbs 8 0z and baby girl weights 2lbs 6 oz! grow babies, grow!

GENDER: boy & girl!

MOVEMENTS:  all the time. which is normal. according to an app i have, you should feel them move 10x an hour. i definitely feel them move more times than others but, boy are they moving!  

FOOD CRAVINGS/AVERSIONS:  currently craving movie theater popcorn and sees butterscotch lolipops. random huh?

WHAT I MISS: being comfortable when i sleep. baby girl likes to push her back into me right under my boobs. not fun, good thing i love these babies! 

SLEEP: still hit & miss. some nights its great and some its not. they are just prepping me for when they are here. 

WHAT I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO: my baby shower next week. oh and getting through these holidays {still pregnant!} praying they stay put til mid january! 

nothing else real exciting to write down this update. still on bed rest....everyone is like you are so positive all the time. oh trust me im not. i have my days. somedays i go crazy in this house and somedays it doesn't bug me. like since it's been FREEZING i don't mind it too much!

it's officially christmas season, now that thanksgiving is over! these pins make me want to go to a cabin in the snowy mountains and spend christmas there. maybe someday! not this year, since we could be having babies anytime! ahhh!

dan had a 4 day weekend and it was glorious. i love having that guy home! we watched lots of movies, ate yummy meals and decorated for christmas. i love our christmas tree so much. something about having it up just makes our house more magical! 

did you deck your halls yet? i have seen many pictures on instagram of eveyone's trees and i love them. they all just look so pretty! 

oh && it's december now, that means it's time for a happy list!
