'bout time.

this time tomorrow I will be boarding a plane and finally on my 

way to Utah! So stinkin' excited! I cannot wait for all the

laughing, fun, spoon me, cousins, family, friends, movie watching,
picture taking, cupcake baking,

and just PURE BLISS! :)

WOOOHOOOO!!

make things happen...UTAH IS 

happening yay!

can't sleep thoughts.

Um..I can't sleep. 

So I sit here in my bed listening to my "twinner playlist" 
and becoming very anxious to see him! 
PURE BLISS!

 Here are a few things I am sitting here pondering:

1. How sad it really is to be so close to someone and then in time you drift apart to the point you don't speak. I mean, if you think about it its probably for the better but at the same time its sad. I have several people I can think of that this has happen with. Sad, but its part of life! I am thankful I had the chance to know all of these people and know I have learned so much from them!

2. Scripture Study, this is something I have been pondering since last week as I prepared my RS lesson for last Sunday. As I have opportunity to prepare and teach that lesson, I have been really thinking about the importance of being diligent in your scripture study and how lucky we are to live in a time where we have these precious words. I am so grateful for the Scriptures and love how I will continue to learn from them. :)

3. How much I love when songs, just make me SMILE or make me sing along at the top of my lungs. Its defiantly a favorite! Here are some songs that do just that and are on my "twinner playlist"!

4. How much I have to be grateful for! I have a loving family, the Gospel, and friends who support me in all I do. That is just the start of what I have to be grateful for there are many other things such as; I have a roof over my head and someplace to sleep. I think of the countries where they don't have the luxuries we do. My heart goes out to them, for the ability to be so humble and grateful for what they do have. They make the best of what they do have. It is so easy for us to get caught up in the shoes, makeup, hair, TV, celebrities and movies. With all these distractions we can forget the simple things truly mean the most. "You can't buy happiness"-is a phrase we have all hear time and time again but, we need to wake up and realize its TRUE! If I sit here and list the things that make me the happiest, not a single one of them is something you can buy. I am just so grateful and feel truly blessed to be given those things in my life.

So there you have my random thoughts since I CANT SLEEP, 
but now I'm pretty tired and will try to hit the hay!

So it's Mother's Day and this post is a shout out for all the Mother's out there who have been such examples to me! I have been blessed to have some amazing women in my life who have been nothing but wonderful example. 

1. My mother: Dear Mom, You are the funniest lady I know, I love that can you can always make me laugh when I don't want to. I have many memories of times were we have just laughed so hard we have cried. and I know there are more to come! You work very hard, and have your whole life. You wouldn't be who you are now if it wasn't for your hard work! I love you Momma <3 your doodlebug! 

2. my mother's mother, Grandma Doreen (Do, Do): Dear Do-Do, I miss you very much, but have only fond memories of you. You were was a firecracker, and always got fired up when we would play some Phase 21 or Skip-Bo. LOL. I admire you for your love of the Temple and your work you did in the San Diego Temple. I love you tons and miss you oh soo much! I love you Grandma Do-Do. 

3. My Dad's Mother Grandma Joanne: Dear Gma Joanne, you are such a sweetheart. You're very sweet, tender and very patient with everyone. I can remember all the hours that were spent playing paper dolls with you and baking cookies! They were some amazing times, and I love all the times we have now. Lunches, and the occasional sleepovers. I love you Grandma Joanne! 

4. My Stepmother Heather: Dear Heather, you are the best Stepmother anyone could ask for. You are soo fun, caring, and sweet! We have had some amazing times! I have learned so much from you about parenting as I have watched her with my little siblings! I cannot wait for all amazing times we have ahead of us, you are such a wonderful example. Love ya! 

5. My stepdad's Mother Gma Elieen: Dear Gma Elieen, you have been in my life since I was 4 1/2. I have always been your "shadow", following you everywhere. We have spent many hours watching Ice Skating and then I would "skate" around the house like they did on T.V. I always enjoy going over to see you and we just gossip about boys and whatever else is going on in my life! I love you Gma Elieen, I will always be your shadow!

There are many other women in my life, Gma Jeanne(heathers mom), Pat (besties mom), My aunts, various woman from church, and other family members I have that have been such examples to me as Mothers. I hope one day when I become a mother I can take what I have learned from each and everyone of you and become the best mother I can be. I love you all and hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day! <3

Like she says in the video she is just doing what her Heavenly Father asks of her. I admire her so much, and am so grateful I stumbled upon her blog last year. I personally have not had such a dramatic experience happen to me, but I have learned so much for her posts and now that wonderful video. I strive to be as strong as she is, I know with my Heavenly Father anything is possible. I do not know Stephanie Nielson personally but want to thank her for sharing her amazing messages.
