my 2013 word is patience. i have never been a very patient person....like ever. obviously i have had to practice this in life ever since i was a kid but, lately this has been quite the struggle for me. i always want things or answers instantly. like how i can't wait for my nails to dry before i feel the need to start doing things, or how i dont like to wait for prayers to be answered when i want them to be. over the last few months i have been thinking and praying for patience in all things in my life. i pray that during this year i can really work and learn how to be patient.
have you chosen a word for the year? this my first time choosing a word and i hope to do this in years to come.

I haven't yet, but this is another great idea! I too can be impatient!-Jessica L
ReplyDeleteGreat word! i think i have become more patient since having a dog and baby, but i could still use more of it! Especially when driving!
ReplyDeletePatience is hard, best of luck mastering it:)
ReplyDeletei haven't chosen a word yet...but patience is a fabulous one. its something i definitely need to work on too :)
ReplyDeleteps. i'm excited for end of january :)
Patience really is a fabulous thing. I have also given it a lot of thought because I struggle with it too. I stumbled on a scripture a while ago that was a bit of a light bulb for me: James 1:3-4. My favorite part: "But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing." I like the idea of choosing a word to work on. The word "patience" is certainly easier to remember several times a day than "start gathering that list of emergency supplies you made last year" that's on my list of resolutions. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteM and K stands for Mike and Kathryn Olson, by the way. :)
DeletePatience is something that I need to work on too. I think my word for 2013 would have to be Contentment....
ReplyDeleteI hope you're having a splendiferous week. :)
