it's a utah thing, i love.

shaved ice is amazingly yummy. but, never knew it was so popular. there is literally one by every store. well maybe not literally. haha. anyways, there's alot of them. this week we took the nieces out on a date for shaved ice. Mmmm it was yummy. i got strawberry, pineapple and lime. i am so glad i live in utah now, where i can partake of this yummy summer treat!

hopscotch.

remember playing hopscotch when you were little over the summer on those days when you would stay in your swim suits all day long? my nieces reminded me of that while we were outside playing today 


{back story: we were gonna go to lagoon-a-beach and play in the water but, it was too cold there. soo we went home instead.}

one thing i love about being so close to my nieces now, is i get to "tend" them {as they say here in utah} every so often. i love it. these girls are so funny, and i love them to pieces. :)

it was fun day scooding {as bailey says, really its scooting} and writing with chalk. til the storm rolled in. then we watched some Victorious {dont hate, i love that show. seriously watch it you'll laugh!} and some iCarly {always a fav}. 

psstt...today is brooklyn's 7th birthday. later today we're having a surprise party for her and steph {her mom} and i made the cutest cupcakes and cake for her! :)
