wanna hear something funny?!

so friday night the hubs and i went to lagoon for frightmares with my sister in law kelly {psstt go read her blog, she posts awesomes-sauce posts!} ok, so if you know me i HATE getting scared. so while dan and kelly did all the scary haunted houses are such, i waited for them and people watched. ok, so here is what happened. 


{picture me just standing near the exit of the haunted house, on my phone minding my own business, when some 15 year old kid comes up to me....}


15 yr old BOY: "hey pretty girl!" 


ME: BLANK STARE...


BOY: "what's your name?!"


ME: "um, i am basically old enough to be your oldest sister!"


BOY: "i wish you were so i could see your pretty face, everyday!" 


ME: "hahahahaha" {yeah, all i could get out was laughter!}




seriously, how random and it totally made my night. glad to know i still go it i guess. i just had to share this with you all! so funny. anyways, thats all for now.

1. this saying. brightens up my day!

2. rod iron bed frames. someday we will have one, that is a fact. :)

burfday wish list.

its that time again. time for eryka's 2011 burfday {birthday} wish list. eeekkk. cant believe im about to be 23 freakin years old. haha. soo old!




1. this mustard colored cardi from urbanoutfitters. can be found here.

2. these amazing boots. seriously drooling over them, i so need some for this fall/winter! find them here.

3. an instax camera. this pretty little thang, has been on my wish list for about 2 years. someday pleaseeee buy this for me. from here.

4. grey toms. because i've decided you can never have too many pairs of toms. :) find them here.

yay for burfdays, but honestly i cannot wait to spend my birthday with my family and friends. :)

our weekend.

this weekend was filled with laughter, family, sleeping in, snuggles, getting spiritually uplifted by listening and watching conference, a little rain and just enjoying a beautiful fall weekend. getting pumpkins tonight. yay for fall and halloween. what are you going to be for halloween?! do tell. the hubby is gonna be rod from hot rod and im gonna be densie from hot rod. awesome-sauce right?! 

um, they say on the news that thursday it's gonna be high of 60 and rainy. LOVEEE IT!
