oh hi...

i have a new addiction. i know, you're thinking "oh gosh another one!" ha. polyvore.com is amazing, and i don't know where i've been and how i didn't know about it til now. ha.

here are a few of my "sets". i have decided i will start a new series on the blog. it will be called "style saturday" every saturday i will share some "sets" from polyvore.com i created that week. i know today is monday, just ignore it. ha. so starting saturday..."style saturday" will start! :)

it's a utah thing, i love.

shaved ice is amazingly yummy. but, never knew it was so popular. there is literally one by every store. well maybe not literally. haha. anyways, there's alot of them. this week we took the nieces out on a date for shaved ice. Mmmm it was yummy. i got strawberry, pineapple and lime. i am so glad i live in utah now, where i can partake of this yummy summer treat!

did my white legs blind you? im sorry. but, lets talk about how hot dan looks in this last pic. yep, hes all mine. haha!

diy milk glasses.

so i've been collecting vases and a "cake" stand from the D.I for awhile now. i finally got around to turning them into milk vases, and oh my goodness i love them. i already have plans to get some more to have the top shelf cover in them. cute right?! haha. anyways here is the how to:

our weekend. part two.

since the hubby was working ALL day. annie and i had a little girl time. it was amazing, why wouldn't it be she is my best friend and cousin. love her. i so needed a girls day. it was bliss.

chalk festival in salt lake, shopping at the gateway, and a "picnic" at temple square eating cherries. Mmmm.

Mmm.

I dont usually post recipes on here, but this bread is too YUMMY not to. I made this a few weeks ago, and everyone loved it. It was gone in two days. I making two loafs right now {because i am having a total carb craving}, I cannot wait to take it outta the oven and eat it. {drooling now} haha. So, go make this like, now! :)

our weekend.

was filled with bbqing at our soon to be brother in laws eric's {no pics from that, sadly!}, riding rollercoasters at lagoon with friends, sleeping, getting sunburned, getting a new app for my phone that has cool cameras and effects, taking our nieces to the park ant taking load of pictures.

...you and the hubby drive in around the north salt lake mountains and look at all the HUGE houses and talk about your dream home.

...grey's anatomy takes over your life.

...you have yet another baby craving. {curse you baby cravings, its not time yet don't you know that}

...doing your hair seems like an impossible task.

...you miss california.

...your toenails look nasty and you're in dire need of a pedi. {ahh i know!}

...you make out with your hubby for no reason. yep, he knows he's lucky to have me as a wife. {hahaha}

...you realize you need a new hobby.

hopscotch.

remember playing hopscotch when you were little over the summer on those days when you would stay in your swim suits all day long? my nieces reminded me of that while we were outside playing today

{back story: we were gonna go to lagoon-a-beach and play in the water but, it was too cold there. soo we went home instead.}

arent they so cute in the little swimsuits. love it.

our weekend.

1. remember this post about how we planted some seeds? well lookie, we have some sprouts. whoop whoop.

2. friday night we pulled out our widdle bbq, invited kelly over and had steak, corn on the cob and salad. it was freaking amazing. poor daniel needs a bigger grill maybe someday he will have a real man size grill.

3. saturday night i was closing the window and then gonna head to bed {at 9pm might i add} and saw this amazing sunset. gosh i love utah sunsets.

hi...

...my name is eryka, and im not perfect. i know right crazy stuff. sometimes i hold in feelings too long and then i break down and get mad at the hubs for no reason. haha.

but i have a sweet husband who buys me ice cream, and candy when he wants to say sorry. he also lays in bed with me and lets me cry about how i feel like useless, how i dont do anything, how i miss my mom, California, and all my friends. all the while he just rubbed my back and listened. he is so amazing, it's not even funny. how did i get lucky to marry a guy who is patient and loving.

i love the fact, i will be with him forever and ever. love him. <3
