is the number of days until my weekend in Utah!

I am soo excited and cannot wait for it. eeekkk!

Sundays will come.

Since Conference falls on Easter this year, we "celebrated" it today with some amazing talk in Sacrament meeting. It was a wonderful reminder of the reason for our Easter holiday. All day I have been pondering the love of my Savior, and how it makes me feel. I am so grateful for his sacrifice and that he died for me (and you.) In 3rd wards Sacrament meeting after my friend's Zac's homecoming talk, a brother got up and spoke on Christ's sacrifice. He was describing the way they used to crucify people in the day of Christ and as I listened I was overcome with emotion. Just hearing the words of the way our Savior died for us, saddened me. I am beyond grateful for him and as I sit here and type this I have tears in my eyes. I love my elder Brother and it's because of him I have been given all I have. During this Easter holiday we celebrate his resurrection. Something we all should be eternally grateful for. In the Branch's sacrament meeting Brother Marianno gave a talk in which he quoted Elder Joesph B. Wirthlin

"Each of us will have our own Fridays—those days when the universe itself seems shattered and the shards of our world lie littered about us in pieces. We all will experience those broken times when it seems we can never be put together again. We will all have our Fridays. But I testify to you in the name of the One who conquered death—Sunday will come. In the darkness of our sorrow, Sunday will come. “No matter our desperation, no matter our grief, in this life or the next, Sunday will come.”

His talk was just what I needed to hear today! it is true we all will go through "Fridays" days which are hard and tough, but we can't forget they are "Sundays" that follow. Those Sundays will come because of your Elder Brother Christ. I can honestly say, I have no idea what my life would be without those "Fridays". It's because of those "Fridays", I have the wonderful wonderful "Sundays". I am so grateful for all I have been given, the people I have been blessed to know, they memories I have had, they trials I have endured, and the ones I will be faced with. This Gospel is 100% true and right now in my life my Testimony is the strongest it has ever been. I hope those who are reading this will know I love you very much and am blessed to know you and hope you can increase your Testimony of Christ! I wish you all a wonderful Easter! XoXo!

yippe for spring

Kattera darling called me Friday and said "we're going to the Temple tonight to the visitor's center/out to dinner and your coming". So it was settled I was going, haha. It was such a wonderful night (minus some "issues") the sunset was amazing and the spirit was felt. I am so blessed to live so close to the Temple and enjoy being able to go and walk around and feel the spirit there. While at the visitors center we got to "watch" the presentation on families. I have seen that about 4 times before but this time, I felt the spirit so strongly! It got me thinking of my family and how much I love them. I know they will always be here for me, thanks to the Plan our Heavenly Father has given us. :) Here are some pictures of the amazing-ness!

Saturday was Jen's bridal shower I threw for her. It was oh so much fun, and I was very glad I was able to give her a memorable day! I love my bff so much, and cannot wait for her to be sealed for time and all eternity to Jason. I am beyond excited to be part of that day with her! I love you Jennifer Lynn! <3

Why in heavens name am I awake right? Who the heck knows, I'm so not tired. I have now some how found myself looking at plane tickets to Utah online. Uh oh..bad news. How I want to be there now! For so many reasons!!! :) I wish I had a magic wand and I could make it May already. I'm going up end of May and cannot be more excited for that trip! ahh...hurry up May. It will be soo fun, get to see lots and lots people! eekkkk....

I am way excited, for April though. I mean come on my BFF is getting married April 10th! It is going to be oh so amazing. Tonight she came over and I cut her hair! Then we watched a movie and made some flowers for her centerpieces. It was oh so fun! BFF time is always fun...

So its 1 am and yeah im not tired really, LAME SAUCE. Well this is probably one of the most boring posts ever in the history of blogging! just kidding. Im gonna go read my new Nicholas Sparks book (thank you linds..love you) and try to get sleepy!

Ok I am seriously in LOVE with Pandora.com It is amazing, you type in whatever artist or genre your feeling that day and wa-la it creates a station for you. I curenntly am listening to "James Morrison" station and it's wonderful. Playing a little, James Morrison (of course), Coldplay, John Mayer, Jason Mraz, and even Michael Buble! <3

I am totally in love with it right now! Thank you pandora for being soo awesome and rocking my socks!

a betty crocker in the making...

I had to make cookies for a Baptism Saturday night and I could not decide what kind of cookies to bake. I knew I wanted to bake them from scratch. So I was texting Dan and I asked him what kind I should bake! He said "Sickerdoodles?" I hadn't have them in years, So it was settled I was going to bake Snickerdoodles. They were a hit and turned out amazing! Thank you to Betty Crocker, you sure know your stuff Betty! :)

After you mix ingredients together you shape dough into balls and dip into Cinnamon/sugar mixture like so:

Then place on cookie sheet.

Bake at 400 degrees for 8-10min. I did like 9min.

Once done take out and enjoy your yummy cookies. :)

Go me, baking cookies from scratch! Gotta work on those domestic skills right?!

A bunch of friends and I celebrated Joel's 25th birthday on Friday night, oh my goodness it was the best night we have all had in a long time. I am so blessed to have amazing friends who keep me laughing the whole night. It was a fun filled night with good food from Buca Di Pepo. The food there is so amazing! Please do yourself a favor and go there asap. The whole night was filled with laughter, girl convos, laughter, dancing to spice girls in the car and singing at the top of our lungs. After dinner it was off to game night were we tried to calm down but just wasn't happening. More inside jokes were created such as "Joel toots for hot men"-side note...Joel is from London and had no idea "tooting" is farting...so to her shock she pretty much said I love to fart for hot men! haha. Oh boy! I am so glad Joel moved her and we have become great friends! Love you Joel and the rest you ladies! :)

When Annie and I "grow up" we are going to own our very own cupcake business.  Name is still being worked out. We cannot wait to make cupcakes just 'cuz. Our kids will love us, they will have the coolest moms ever! Not to mention our "future" hubby's will too!
