last night i was reading alacia's blog and had a holy crap moment. she posted about how its been 5 years since she graduated high school. i then did the quick math and realized on the 9th of june it will mark 7 freaking years since i have graduated high school. i about had a heart attack. it doesn't seem like it has been that long. well, it does but not really. above are a few photos from my high school days. i sure miss those girls in those pictures. high school was the best because of the group of friends i had. we had so many good times. my best friend ashley who is most of these photos and i had SO many good memories. i still think about all the times we spent at mary's pizza shack, or drives on the back roads, and the rap sessions to mac dre. { we thought we were so cool!} or the cheer practices where we just goofed off. good times!
maybe it's because my little sister graduates from the very same high school on the 6th of june but, i have been thinking a lot about my high school experience. even got my yearbooks out the other day {oh man the clothes were so funny!!} it got me thinking about the memories i mentioned before but. also made think of the hard times. high school is rough, man. in high school is where i did a lot of learning about who i was and who i wanted to be. i also learned that the friends you keep help make you, you.
now, that i took a stroll down memory lane i will say i am soo glad i don't ever have to do high school again. i feel for all those who still do but, am a little jealous of them because they don't have to be adults they get to go to football games, not pay bills, and just be teenagers. oh those were the days, right?
how long has it been since you graduated?
psstt....those yellow cap and gowns are still ugly 7 years later. haha!
