vacation in instagrams

we had the best time on our little vacation. it was so nice to be away from home for a few days. i personally needed the time away from the computer. it was amazing! as you saw i actually took pictures with my canon. shocking huh? we are home now, and oh boy are we tired! i've decied to not write captions and just let the photos speak for themselves. come back tomorrow to see our vacation in instagrams. yea, they're are way more pictures. haha. hope you all loved the guest posts i had while i was gone!

Hey guys! My name is Gentri and I am obsessed with blogging. I'm a 4'8" twenty something year old who loves mountains, road trips, foxes, and mint chocolate chip ice cream. My blog includes all of my adventures with a bit of fashion, crafts, inspirations, and humor thrown in. I love making new blog friends, so I'd love to have you stop by and say hello!

1. Who or What inspired you to start your blog?! 
Well, I originally started blogging because my sister and bff made me. That was back when blogs weren't crazy popular. But I became a "Blogger" because I fell in love with two blogs: The Daybook and Tatertots and Jello.

2. If you could meet any bloggers in real life who would they be?! 
Um, all of them. Haha! I would LOVE to meet so many bloggers I couldn't just pick one. But I have practically been begging Michelle and Lena to come visit me.

3. Who are your blog crushes?! 
I feel like my answer is the same here. But to name a few who I seriously admire...Tieka, Kendi, Elizabeth and Elsie & Emma

4. What do you do when you aren't blogging?! 
I'm at school. haha! But I graduate in September. So I'll probably be working. If I could have it my way- I'd be having adventures everyday!

Good morning, did you guys have a good weekend? Hopefully I haven't melted yet in Vegas. {fingers crossed. haha} Today you get to know another adorable blogger I love. Brooklyn from This Little Blonde. She is so precious, I know you will just love her! 


Hey cute abcde readers! How great is it to be around these parts? Abcde's parts. In a non creepy way...Anyway I'm Brooklyn! And I blog at This Little Blonde. You seriously should come visit me. My best friend just left and... I can use all the friends that want me ;)

1. Who or What inspired you to start your blog?!

I actually knew nothing about blogging when I started. Except it was like an online journal. So I started. But it took a long time for me to go public. But I've always loved to write but I hate the technicalities of writing. Blogging lets me be a spazz.

2. If you could meet any bloggers in real life who would the be? 

I always wanted to me Elise from Elise's Pieces and Ashley from The Shine Project. And I've got to meet them both! They are both so amazing and I love being a Shine Project intern :)

3. Who are your blog crushes?

I'm assuming this means like blogs I love right? I crush hard core on This Little Momma and Modern Modest Beauty!

4. What do you do when you aren't blogging? 

I watch TONS of Disney movies. I hang out with my little brothers a lot. I work at a trampoline park and read lots of self-help books. I also love to sleep in, try new hair products and play the piano. For only working part time and not being in school this summer, I stay real busy. But I still make time to bloggity blog. Because I LOVE it!

q&a with what i love about today

Hi, me again! Did you love yesterdays post with Amanda. Isn't she a doll? Well, we are soaking up the HOT HOT HOT sun in Vegas right now. While I get to work on my tan, you get to know the awesome Elizabeth from What I Love About Today which is kinda of fitting since I am in her hometown as you read this! 

Hello all you ABCDE readers! My name is Elizabeth, but you can call me Lizzie and blog over at What I Love About Today. My blog focuses on finding the joy in everyday life. Sometimes we get caught up in the everyday and we forget that everyday has something special about it, and that our attitude towards our own lives greatly affects our happiness. My blog is about my personal journey to happiness.

1. Who or What inspired you to start your blog?

Originally I started blogging in 2009 because of my friend Haili. She had a little blog documenting her life, and I basically wanted to copy what ever she did (I still do in a lot of ways). I blogged mostly for my family for a few years until early 2012. 

I was going through a particularly rough patch in my life. I was still dealing with a miscarriage I had in 2011 and struggling with infertility. Everyday I would come home crying, and totally grumpy. One day my husband got fet up with my attitude and asked me rather sternly if I could think of anything I was happy about that particular day. I said no. He made a goal for me to think of something everyday to be happy about. Which is how I got the title What I Love About Today.

2. If you could meet any bloggers in real life who would the be? 

I have a few bloggers that I would totally love to meet. First would be the first girl I ever buttoned swapped with Corina, from Corina's Corner, I feel like we were made to be best friends because we are so similar in a lot of ways. I also would love to meet Gentri, from Gentri Lee. I love her style and her blog and so it would pretty much be amazing to meet her. Finally Eryka from ABCDE, cause um hello who wouldn't want to meet Eryka! 

3. Who are your blog crushes?

I have a bunch because I love reading blogs! But my two biggest blog crushes are Dandee from Dandee Designs. I love that she is such an amazing designer and creator, but also a wonderful mother to so many children. She is a must read. The other would be Megan from The Fresh Exchange. I can't help but leave her blog totally inspired. Those are my favorite types of blogs, the kind that leave you feeling inspired after every single post. 

4. What do you do when you aren't blogging? 

When I am not blogging, I am working. I work at a local private school as a teacher. It is such a wonderful job and I enjoy it very much. The few hours I get of free time I enjoy hiking. Recently, my husband and I have taken up the hobby of backpacking. We been saving for all the necessary equipment, and are planning our first 3 day hiking trip for later this month. I love to be outdoors as much as possible, and I also enjoy photography.

Hey lovelies. First, I have to say that I am so honored to guest post on ABCDE. Eryka has been such a fabulous friend to me during this brief little time we have {cyber} known each other!

I blog over at We&Serendipity. My name is Amanda and I am married to Mr. Schroeder.  We currently live in Virginia Beach, VA and are probably the two most silly or zany (you pick) people you will ever meet. I run a lifestyle blog that includes our lives together and our journey. You can find anything from delicious recipes to odd happenings we come across. We laugh. We laugh a lot. And we like to invite people to celebrate our lives with us.

1. Who or What inspired you to start your blog?

I had a lifestyle blog before I got hitched, and I thought I would start a new blog about our lives together. I love new beginnings. I don’t believe in coincidences. I believe in fate. I believe God knows exactly what he is doing and can work in very mysterious ways. Serendipity is something I smile at. It is a word I love, a movie I love, and a meaning that explains {in depth} my belief in happy occurrences and findings. I am also not extraordinary at writing in my journal. So I couldn’t let our experiences and hilarious circumstances be put to waste and forgotten…so I made a blog to document that.

2. If you could meet any bloggers in real life who would the be? 
Well, I’d have to say I adore ABCDE. Not just saying that because I’m guest-posting. Miss Eryka is indeed delightful and nice. I like her and hope someday we can meet. I also adore NieNie. When I’m not blogging, I am probably spending some much needed time with my husband, talking to my mother on the phone, eating Hershey Drops, or chilling at the beach. This summer has been perfect (and unordinary) in every way

speaking of pretty little liars.....i have become utterly addicted to this show. i am all caught up to the current season and episode. dont ask how fast i watched season 2 'cuz it was fast. haha. this show is so addicting. pretty sure its because they leave you hanging every.single.episode.  like no joke. EVERY episode. at times it can be so annoying but, mostly it just sucks me in even more then i already am. all you PLL fans get it!

Hello all you lovely ABCDE readers, I'm Abbigayle from True Blue Abbi. TBA is a lifestyle blog I've had since June 25, 2010. On TBA I post my personal outfits, health/beauty/fitness/fashion tips, life snapshots, and a little bit more.  I've especially had fun lately posting product reviews!

My name is Abbigayle Rashae and I'll turn 15 July 31st! I've been homeschooled since the middle of 6th grade. I'm going to be a Sophmore this fall! I work for both of my parents and their separate business's. I also just got a job at a web designing company, which is HUGE for me! I love blogging, writing, reading, fashion, photography, and graphic design. I live in Iowa out in the country on a small farm. I love meeting new people and finding out about new blogs so come on by True Blue Abbi and say hi!


Now, that you know a little about this darling girl. Let's get to know even more with a fun little Q&A! 

1) My dad inspired me to start my blog actually. It started out as a 10 hr project for my church, but, if you take a peek at True Blue Abbi you'll see that it's turned into so much more! I never knew how important my blog would end up being, but I wouldn't change that for the world. My blog is my baby and I'm not ashamed to admit it! 

2) If I could meet any bloggers in real life it'd probably be Sydney from The Daybook and Kaelah from Little Chief Honeybee! I stalk their blogs daily and they're both adorable in their own ways! 

3) My blog crushes are probably Sydney and Kaelah. I read a bunch of blogs though, so I'm not entirely sure. All I know is that I love them alot! 

4) Well, when I'm not blogging I'm usually doing other things on the computer, reading, writing, trying to nap, milking the goats, checking the mail, working for my mom or dad's business, babysitting, and taking pictures! I do lots of different things. It mainly depends on the day.
